VISIT US

Visit MCLA in-person or from the comforts of home! MCLA is an incredible place to spend your college years. If you haven’t been to the Berkshires, we should talk. Our area is known for its majestic mountain ranges, hiking trails, and natural splendor. Economically, our region is surging in a big way thanks to young and creative energy in North Adams and here at MCLA.

Attend an Open House

Unable to come see us in-person? Take a virtual tour.

Designed for students who have been admitted to MCLA, our Virtual Accepted Student Days provide the opportunity to learn more about academics, student life, housing, and financial aid. Hear from current students and learn more about what it's like to be a Trailblazer!

ATTEND AN ACCEPTED STUDENT event

Get to know the real MCLA during one of our Accepted Student Days. Spend the night to learn what it's like to be an MCLA student. Meet current students and professors at a resource fair, sit in on classes, and attend sessions covering topics such as housing, student activities, and athletics.

Explore CAMPUS HOUSING

At MCLA, we believe that living on campus sets the stage for student learning. Our on-campus housing provides a living environment conducive to academic pursuits, personal growth, and making new friends (and memories). You may know them as dorms, but at MCLA, we like to call them residence areas. Berkshire Towers, Hoosac Hall, and the Flagg Townhouses are managed by Residence Life & Housing.

Residence Hall assignments will be determined during the summer by Residential Programs and Services. A contract requesting housing preferences, options, and housing regulations will be available in June. Preference is given to students who submit their deposit early and complete their housing information on time.

Apply for Financial Aid

Need-based financial aid is determined by submitting the FAFSA and MCLA's Financial Aid Application as soon as possible. Financial aid packages are processed beginning in December.

New Student Orientation

Orientation sessions will help you navigate MCLA, from meeting fellow students to setting up academic advising appointments to advice on adjusting to college life. Orientation also includes sessions for families.

Health Services

As a matriculated MCLA student, you are required to submit the MCLA Health Form, which also includes past immunization records.

Laptop Initiative

Do you need a laptop? MCLA’s Laptop Initiative can help you get ready for the semester.

Check out student services

The Office of Academic Advising & Support provides many resources to help students excel, both in and out of the classroom: peer-led academic support and advising for students who are exploring different major choices. The Office of Disability Resources provides students with individualized support services based on the nature of the documented disability. Career Services is dedicated to helping students prepare for fulfilling career paths, not just stereotypical success.

Connect With MCLA

Tell your family they are welcome to join the MCLA Family Facebook group. They’ll be able chat with other families, and MCLA admission counselors are there to answer questions.

Be sure to like the MCLA Office of Admission page to keep up to date with our community and get alerts about upcoming deadlines and accepted student days.
